About us
Krassi Studio is a one-person workshop run by me, Jevgeni Krassi. I am originally from Estonia, and I studied graphics at the Estonian Academy of Arts. My background is in furniture making, where I also hold a professional qualification.
I have worked in furniture making for several years, but over time I have found my focus in woodturning and wooden sculpture. This is where most of my attention and free time goes, and it is the direction I continue to develop with commitment.
I work from a small workshop in eastern Estonia. All pieces are made using locally sourced timber. I collaborate with local arborists who supply fresh wood for woodturning projects.
My approach is material-conscious and low-waste. Wood shavings are given to animals or used in local gardens, and offcuts are used as firewood to heat the workshop during winter.
